Function:

I am a visual artist and woodworker creating functional and character filled furniture and accessories using the many techniques I have accumulated over the years. I received my BFA in 1998 and have since done fine art, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, and faux finishing. I have been doing original furniture design and custom woodwork since 2010.
My goal and purpose is to combine these elements and skills to make functional beautiful furniture that is inviting as well as aesthetically pleasing.

Reclaimed Live Edge Doug Fir Side Table with charred accents. Sold

This table is made from 100% reclaimed douglas fir. Lucked out on the Live Edge on this one.

It pays to keep an eye out to see what comes in every few days at rebuild it center.

I charred the outside edges of the legs with a propane torch!

Driftwood Douglas Fir Stump Table with glass top. Sold.

Found some glass for this table today at Rebuild it Center. I love that place!

The ghost face profile is what attracted me to this stump. Just in time for Halloween!

The gnarl and drifty edgelike qualities are resplendent on this piece.

Close up of the gnarl.

Lisa decided to use it in the shop for display at Oko Gallery on Thurman Street in NW Portland.
