I made this piece custom for myself. as the doorway to get upstairs in our weird old building is only 22.5 inches wide. It kind of limits furniture options, but I really needed a desk and workspace up here. All the hardware is reused and free to me, as was the wood. You just have to be in the right place at the right time.
Function:
I am a visual artist and woodworker creating functional and character filled furniture and accessories using the many techniques I have accumulated over the years. I received my BFA in 1998 and have since done fine art, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, and faux finishing. I have been doing original furniture design and custom woodwork since 2010.
My goal and purpose is to combine these elements and skills to make functional beautiful furniture that is inviting as well as aesthetically pleasing.

Driftwood Spruce and Spalted Maple Butterfly Coffee Table. $375.00
A really interesting design on this piece, if I do say so myself. The driftwood spruce planks contrast subtly with the spalted maple butterflies and legging. 21 inches by 48 long and 18 high.
