Function:

I am a visual artist and woodworker creating functional and character filled furniture and accessories using the many techniques I have accumulated over the years. I received my BFA in 1998 and have since done fine art, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, and faux finishing. I have been doing original furniture design and custom woodwork since 2010.
My goal and purpose is to combine these elements and skills to make functional beautiful furniture that is inviting as well as aesthetically pleasing.

Reclaimed Doug Fir Benches. $250.00

So I am just realizing that some of my settings were a bit obsolete, making it really hard for customers to contact me. I basically wrote myself in from another account, which should make it fairly simple, as I realize not everyone wants to sign on to Etsy or some other site that wants to fill your inbox.

Adjustable reclaimed Doug Fir and pipe shelving.

Another custom order job, these are mounted on the pipe via split shaft collars that I special ordered. This is a great way to make the most of wall space with out making it feel blocked off. That is a recurring comment is that it feels "open"

The Benchable. $295.00

This is a new design for me, longwise, it is a bench or possibly a coffee table, turned on its side, it can be either a side table or a stool. a four pin box joint on each corner makes it super sturdy.  25.5x12x18 , sealed with oil based polyurethane. For contact or purchasing visit my online store        at www.driftedge.etsy.com

Salvaged Douglas Fir Bench. $295.00

This is a really beefy piece, created from a 3 x 14 inch plank with huge box joints to join the legs. I added a red mahogany stain to deepen the tone, and the piece is sealed with oil based polyurethane.
48 inches long, 14 wide and 18 high. For purchasing or contact, visit my online shop at www.driftedge.etsy.com

Reclaimed Fir Slab Only. $175 per top.

This seems to be a pretty common desk size. I have been building a bunch of office furniture for local businesses. These are 30 x72, the stain method I used is to rub espresso grounds into the wood, let dry and then seal it up.
